This quaint church had been left to the elements. Sadly, there did not appear to be any plan for renovation or repair. I post a church each Sunday in support of inSPIREd Sunday. A reused archive picture.

Have you posted this church before? I like the detail and the evident dilapidation, but something about the steeple rising in front of the home on the hill seems familiar.

@Harry: Yes. I usually mention that the picture is from my archives. If I reuse a picture I usually try to provide a second and different view.

It's a pity that the church was left like that. The structure still looks solid and the green location seem to be nice.

beauty in decay, again ... so it's not only barns that are abandoned in your part of the world ...

This is almost sadder to see than a deteriorating barn. It has been such a beautiful little church.

This is just beautiful! I would hope that it would somehow be renovated and saved. It is a beautiful church. These are the kind of churches I remember from my childhood.

How sad that it has been left to its own demise. I do hope someone will restore it soon.

That's still a very pretty church, even in disrepair. It's a shame no one wants to take a renovation on. Maybe it's too small to be a church but it could be something else...
