The open door looked substandard and smaller than I expected. Is it an illusion? While strange looking to me ,the barn must have been built to the owner's specifications. I post a barn each Tuesday to support Barn Charm.

Wonderful find ,Don. This may be a custom-made barn. That's why it seems to be a little different from others. Have a nice day. :)

Those aluminum doors look to be on a track, but the bottom has broken away ... very different, for sure, and a good capture of it.

Wonderful capture of the strange barn. The center of it could be used to be doors, I guess.

looks like one that would be in texas.

A Stealth Barn?! Well you never know who is gonna attack!

this is strange indeed ... that door looks more like a crawl space than a door! but i like the (obviously) fresh paint !!!

The big doors in the middle look like they've been out of commission for a long time. A rather strange setup at this point.

Quelle ferme et vue ce rouge et ce toit dans la campagne génial.

Because I am an old "Farm Woman," I can visualize the original barn doors. Once upon a time, those doors were wider and perhaps even shorter. Note the other rung that the doors could have hung from...I like the picture, reminds me that pictures tell silent stories.

Yes, a strange old barn. A beautiful capture. And a very nice place. I like it. :)

I am wondering if this is the rear of the barn - I see no pathways leading up to it. It is kind of odd looking.

It looks stange to me...almost did not look tall enough for a man to walk through, but then see the door sized door over on the other side so guess it is. Just sort of strange.

It certainly is different from most barns. It seems so low. Would be interesting to find out what it was used for.

The door on the left side really seems out of proportion ... Nice shot, the red of the barn stands out in this landscape of soft tones !!!

nothing but function

Interesting patchwork barn. While the fields seem well-tended, there don't appear to be paths or walkways into the structure.

It does look starnge, but looks like it's in the process of being painted.

Really nice photo Don, lovely interplay between the yellow, green, and red colors not to mention all the nice curves and lines that work together to make such a soothing farm scene. Makes me think about my ancestral farm family from the 1940s, a lot of good times must have been had in that barn as well as trying, difficult work.

It does look a little Hobbit-ish.
