Mt. Spokane Church

Don (Spokane, United States) on 22 September 2013 in Architecture.

This newer church is adjacent to Mt. Spokane High School. They are located on the road leading to Mount Spokane Ski and Snowboard Park only a few miles away. I post a church each Sunday to support inSPIREd Sunday, site of several other churches.

Luke from Spokane Washington, United States

An attractive and practical church design.

That a very modernistic church building. While I favor a more traditional architecture I do like the clean lines of this.

A really beautiful modern structure with a wonderful sober design; it doesn't look like a church at all, I like that ... Beautiful photo !!!

Excellent framing.
Personally I like the older looking structures for churches.

Such a nicely designed bit of church architecture. Straight lines with that bit of a curve at the entry. Very nice. It was definitely a lovely day when you took this picture. Just look at that blue sky. Nice contribution to the meme this week. genie

Very unusual design, but what matters is how the hearts of those within its walls are touched ... a fine shot, Don.

Not the most beautiful building in the world...but what do I know about architecture, or churches in today's world?

Candace from Phoenix, AZ, United States

Not too churchy...I'm kind of a fan of the more traditional.

Very un-church-like building, but if serves its purpose, there is no requirement to provide visual clues. But it does look more like a school or a government office.

It almost looks like a small sports arena. Very different in design but I like the clean lines. Thanks for sharing it in InSPIREd Sunday, Don.
