Don - Slackwater (
Maybe it's just me, but when I look at the red front of the barn (with windows) I sometimes see it facing right, but it must be left. Do you see it differently? I post each Tuesday to support Barn Charm where you can see many more old barns.
There seems to be some strange geometry with this barn!

you're quite right, don, it does seem to look to the right, and i think it's because of the shadow!
other than that, this is another of your remarkable and well-kept barns. they must abound where you live, as you never run out of new ones to share ...

It took me a few seconds to see the optical illusion. Great job of capturing this! The barn is a beauty.

It makes for a wonderful trick of the eyes, Don. I followed the roof line shadow to reach the conclusion that it faces left, but that doesn't reduce the impact of the illusion!

From this angle it does look like an optical illusion! Love the shadows. Great photo! : )

I think it has to do with how the roof is on the left and the right.
