You are looking at these lily pads floating on the surface while their stems are submerged. I noticed these on a pond and wondered if I could get both the lily pads and stems while avoiding the surface reflections. There are many varities of water plants called lilies and I was unable to pin down a specific name for these.
These are so bright. I like your view with no glare on the water.

Love the composition here Don! The inclusion of the roots trailing down into the depths of the pond really give it a wonderful character! Well seen and captured! ;-)

Like this Don! Those sharp edges make me think of stain glass. I have never seen this kind of water lily and in fact, don't remember ever seeing them in person. Very serene.

As a big flower petals to the huge, I love the illusion and the Zen side of all

A successful experiment, Don. I like the vegetation visible through the murky water.
