
I usually take flower pictures in color, but this one had such a nice shading in reds and purples with a dark background that I decided to risk posting it as a black and white. I hope you like it as such.
It's gorgeous like this, Don. Has the feel of an amazing pencil drawing.

This is a stunning B&W, Don. It does what B&W should do - celebrate light, shape and shadow. This looks like it was composed with liquid silver applied to a complete black surface.

I think the b&w really brings out the detail and you notice more the beautiful structure of the flower. Great processing!
