Every visitor, it seems, takes pictures of Old Faithful when it's erupting. I was no exception but was surprised to get an image with no people blocking the view!
Oh, man. I would love to be there to see that. Maybe some day. I love the way the light is catching the steam from the side.

Sure makes for a memorable moment . . a contact with 'Living Earth' no less . .

That is a good shot! I was in Yellowstone back in 2009, and my shots are very "me too"/undifferentiated. You did well here

We don't have sights like this in Australia, only New Zealand, our near neighbour. You are so lucky...good capture and patience/good timing for being there for the event! :O)

Wonderful shot of an iconic landmark, Don. If you weren't working to get a person-free shot, you are lucky, but careful positioning and camera angle often can achieve the result.

An excellent muscular black and white of this famous tourist attraction, and yes, bravo for getting a clean shot free of people.

Another one of those things I always wonder what the first people thought that saw them...just think how we are and we have heard of them. Imagine coming on them, never having heard of them.

Before I saw the title, I said to myself, it is, "Old Faithful". I was at Yellowstone some time ago and took oodles of pictures of it. Beautiful photo !!

I had the opportunity to see Mount Etna erupting and it's very dramatic. I also saw the geysers of Yellostone but back then I had no digital camera ... unfortunately !
