Driving across western Washington, we encountered this storm ahead and thought sure we'd get a good downpour. But actually the storm moved to one side and we didn't get a drop. I was the passenger and took this picture while we were underway. I liked the dramatic clouds and the contrast of things along the roadway.

Mmm...good one, don; I like those trees on the right, aspen? :OD

Being a passenger on a route one normally drives reveals a whole landscape experience a driver misses . . and it looks like the heavens put on quite a show for you !

I like the changeability of weather more all the time. It makes life interesting. Of course, I like the black and white.

Yes, the drama is made even more so by the mundane life stuff that is so contrasting beneath. The trees to the right look to be trying to impersonate downpour. Funny that it never happened. Kind of disappointing.

It certainly looks stormy. Sometimes, it will be raining a block away and none will fall at my house and vice versa.

This is fantastic, Don, an unreal image, but seeing is BELIEVING!
This rain pattern happens in Florida but I've never been able to capture it as well as this.
Bless you for documenting this phenomena!
