Since the Winter Solstice we have gained only two minutes of added daylight. To stave off the winter blues, I decided to post a flower shot. This particular kind of geranium belongs to the genus of flowering plants which includes about 200 species of perennials, succulents, and shrubs, commonly known as scented geraniums or storksbills. I feel better just looking at a beautiful flower and reminding myself that the days are getting longer and summer will actually return.
