Lonesome Shed

A shot from last summer of this shed located in the middle of a field. It made me wonder why it was there and wonder what else had once been nearby. I liked the weathered wood and caved in door.

Nice capture of this lonely Shed. Well done. :)

This has a ton of character and charm, and I like that crumpled door also. The light green of the foreground grass is superb.

Nice shot, I don't know if I'd be brave enough to risk opening that door !

I don't think I would like to try to open those doors :-)

Lonesome, and it looks like a good puff of wind would blow it over. Nice frame-filling composition.

It makes me wonder if it's still standing. An excellent shot of this old, old shed.

I guess that is a shed that you would not dare enter.

Probably ease of access to storage of hay, perhaps, after the harvest. This one has a real done-and-dusted Australian feel and look to it. Nice one don! :OD

When I see abandoned buildings, I always wonder if the people who built them anticipated that one day no one would use them or care about them.

you really captured the character of this old building. makes you want to know more about it. how old is it? what was it's intended use? will it be here next year at this time?

Those are really handsome doors...or once were. They also seem sort of big in comparison to the size of the building. I would love to know what it was used for.
