A barn with a partial concrete foundation and doors that are rather unusual. I wondered what use the owner makes of this barn. I post a barn picture each Tuesday to support Barn Charm where you can see many other barns.
The horizontal wood on the side looks old but the vertical on the end looks so much newer.

That is a very convenient door location!

As you and others are saying, there are oddities about this one and it seems, too, to have been partly cut into a slope. But it looks in good shape so it must make sense somehow ! A big beast, too.

Umm, did the builder have the architects plan upside down?

Got to be for stock, with hay above Don. I take it we are in cattle country.

a mighty structure, don! i like the dominant red here ... must make a striking dot in the landscape!!

i like those barn doors on slide rails. wish my barn door was still up on it instead of hanging off on one side!

Interesting shot. Good job keeping detail on both the sun side and the shade side. I like how the distant hill slices at an angle through the top 1/3.

I think the fencing inside looks like probably livestock of one kind or another. Or maybe the fencing is what's made there? :) Nice shot. I agree with the other comment that the vertical slqa5tsa look newer than the horizontal ones

Are the doors sliders? I see the partial concrete foundation... I'm wondering what the owner is using it for, too. Hmmm! heheheee She's a beauty
Thanks so much for joining Barn Charm =)

I think i might have been all stones, and then they rebuilt with the new.

A charming and quaint barn in a beautiful setting!

It's intriguing the fact that the two sides looks very different from one another. One new and one old.
