I thought these barns and sheds were built unusually close to each other, but perhaps that fit the owner's reasons and how they would be used. Shot from a distance with reduced quality. I post a barn picture each Tuesday in support of Barn Charm.
These buildings are very tightly grouped!

A cluster, or a nest ?

wow, seems that there was no binding site plan for these barns ;).
25 Oct 2011 7:11am
Like they are seeking comfort in each other :-)
25 Oct 2011 7:54am
Very nice photo!

Good morning Don,
It seems as if the barns were built for a larger project. Despite all the circumstances, it is an interesting discovery. This morning, light rain fell and the outside temperature was warmer. Ranger is sitting next to me and tried to distract me from writing the comment. He has this morning only mischief in his head. It is to funny and brings me laugh. We wish you a nice time, all the best and health including your family and friends.
Dear greetings from Christel, Detlev and Ranger. Take care, my friend.

25 Oct 2011 11:18am
Very interesting...at least they don't have far to walk in the bad weather!
25 Oct 2011 12:00pm
A nice collection of interesting shapes for the barns, love the setting against the pines!
25 Oct 2011 12:05pm
Les couleurs ... la texture.
Encore une excellente grange. )

I don't believe I have ever seen a cluster quite like this. A nice find!
25 Oct 2011 1:22pm
They sure make a nice grouping...I see the one has had an addition that is now missing. I always wonder when I see two or three barns real close together...
25 Oct 2011 2:13pm
Quite a crowd of buildings!
25 Oct 2011 3:03pm

25 Oct 2011 3:41pm

25 Oct 2011 3:45pm
I like these wood tired by time and, in the background, forest which slowly fades
25 Oct 2011 3:48pm
a nice cluster Don and there is the ghost of yet another one on the front of the right hand barn
25 Oct 2011 3:50pm
Wow four barns. I bet there are four kids this farmer had and couldn't fixed their mind how big or how small they will built for a barn, so they end up making four separate barns. Hahaha That is my story now I hope you are smiling with my crazy idea. ^_^ Happy Tuesday!

I went out for a drive this Saturday to the countryside and saw barns, I immediately thought of you and how you'd photograph them :)
25 Oct 2011 4:17pm
They are built close together, but they're definitely BEAUTIFUL! I love the tall one on the right... WoW! I just want to get inside them all & explore!!! =)
Thanks for joining, Don... much appreciated =)

A nice photo of these barns and sheds. Beautifully composed. Nice background. Great shot. :)
25 Oct 2011 4:40pm
this beautiful capture of rural landscape is a reminiscence of good old memories that's scarcely viewed nowadays
25 Oct 2011 4:49pm
and looks like they even tore one shed off the front of the big barn in front. :)
25 Oct 2011 6:12pm
Love all the odd shapes. Looks like a smaller structure might have been removed from the front of the rightmost barn. There is a qualtity drop-off, but at this size it is of little matter.
25 Oct 2011 7:11pm
wonder if they're still in use
25 Oct 2011 8:13pm
a rather attractive ensemble!! too bad they're on their way "down", too, like so many of these buildings ...
i guess the need for this type of wooden barn is no longer there, or is there another reason?!?
25 Oct 2011 9:13pm
Ciao Don,I love these barns !!!!!!!
25 Oct 2011 9:35pm

25 Oct 2011 10:08pm

25 Oct 2011 11:41pm
That is rather strange. Interesting capture! :)
26 Oct 2011 1:01am
Very strange that they would cluster like that if it was a snowy region.
26 Oct 2011 4:36am
They sure are crammed in there.
28 Oct 2011 2:23am
