The Vista House was constructed in 1933 by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The lodge was completely renovated in 2002 and opened to the public. It is constructed of native granite stone and timber framing. The great stone fireplace is the center of the structure, beckoning skiers to enjoy a warm drink and put their feet up in front of the fire. Vista House offers great 360 degree views of Washington, Idaho, Montana and Canada from the top of Mt. Spokane at 5883ft (1793m).
