I liked the remains of this old house for the wood textures and the way it had been torn up. The missing porch seemed strange in that a broom still stood near by. There must be a story here.
maybe forgotten but makes a great geometric composition

Curious how places over your way get left like this - here, they'd be snapped up for $millions, restored by Polish builders and back on the market in weeks !

I know I buried that gold somewhere under the porch. Nice composition and shaft of sunlight

Wonderful composition. Yes, the wood textures are superb. We can only hope renovations might have started with the porch.

Quite a contrast to yesterday's bright spring blossoms, The B&W does a nice job of capturing the desloation.

Love the detail in the wood paneling and the floor beams -- beautifully seen for something old and forgotten!

Long forgotten. You're right about the broom. Nice textures in the boards.

Love the textures of this place that has long been in disrepair . . . and the broom, what's that all about? Great eye to include that!

It does look like it needs a little tender loving care. Very nicely shot, Don. Terrific tones.

A sad story, no doubt, like so many others. I hate to see forlorn houses even tho they make for great photo ops.

now it'll take more than a mere broom to clean this up.. :) nice b&w shot!
