Barn and what?

I'm not sure if this is a barn or farm equipment shed, but the added building with all the windows makes it an interesting puzzle. I post a barn each Tuesday to support Tricia's Barn Charm at: http://bluffareadaily.blogspot.com/.

Rick from Toronto, Canada

That is a charming building, especially for the quirks of all those extra windows... maybe a workshop bringing in a lot of natural light? Either way, another fine rural gem.

love the compo with the fence in the foreground! broken down things are certainly worth photographing, often more so than intact ones! sad but true!

With all the fences here I think the barn must have housed animals at one time. Maybe it still does.

I like the run-down, ramshackle look of this place. Your tight framing keeps interest on the building, but I like the inclusion of the leaning fence in front of it.

Gorrr-geous find, Don, & the snow is an added bonus... love love love red barns in the snow!
The barn/equipment shed, doesn't matter, is a great find & I love all the fence - those windows need some work, though.. heheheee!

thanks muches & bunches for participating every week, so love to see your entries! =)

Super barn, Don. I would be curious about the addition with all the windows. May to house some chickens and to give them some light. We had a big long window in our chicken house. MB

Perhaps that many windowed attachment was a chicken house or maybe even a greenhouse. At any rate, it sure is interesting. Very nice shot.

Large doors on the barn for large equipment, I suppose. And maybe that 'addition' is as someone surmised....a workshop with good light. Great capture.
