A drive by shot of this decaying barn which appears to be surrounded with fences. There was no way gain a higher viewpoint so I was forced to grab a shot through all the obstacles. I still liked the look of the barn with its see-through holes and missing roofing. I post it in support of Tricia's Barn Charm at http://bluffareadaily.blogspot.com/ where you see a number of other barns.
Great looking old barn. Naturally air condtioned!

Nicely composed !

A character filled barn that's seen its best days

All my barn shots are drive by shooting too. You capture it well. The fences means something is still going on here in Spring and Summer. Thanks for sharing!

I like the view, too...I always wonder why the windows so high up in the peak. I would love to know the reasoning behind placing them so high.

There is poetry in these old barns, and this is a fine photo of one. Much of the southwestern province of Ontario (Canada) is farm country, and driving through it is so peaceful and eye pleasing, not the least of which coming from these types of barns, the grain silos, and old farmstead homes.

In structure it has a lot of similarities to my barn. We have a falling down corral fence on the backside but there have been no horses here for many years.

A big which no protègera more much so much it is opened to the four winds but moving in this snowfield

It's definitely all wide open to the elements & wouldn't take long to explore, but I'd still love to get my hands on it!!! =)
Thanks again for joining in, Don, much appreciated!

This barn still has fine "ones" and could have a bright future...if someone decides to rescue it.

Your low point of view makes this an attractive shot. I like the subtle blues in the mostly white sky.

I like the perspective of your shot. The roof resembles the gate. :)

Good evening, Don
The years have not left the barn gone by. The barn looks abandoned and should be restored. The touch of blue shadows in the snow including the fence, animate the whole view positively. A beautiful winter scene.
5 stars ***** Today was a beautiful, sunny day, very funny and exciting. More in an e-mail. Thank you very much for your nice comment. Have a nice time and all the best including your family and friends.
Dear greetings Christel, Detlev and Ranger.

Don, you're to be commended for seeking out these barns. I still have photos from that one barn I was so intrigued with. I really should post a couple more one of these days! I too love the see through holes revealing more of this skeleton.

A barn that is battered but not broken . . yet. Nice!

It almost becomes a museum! I'm sure it'll be very different from what it looks like in other seasons!

I works with all the holes in the fences and the roof and building. Works all the way around. Beautiful light. I love barns.

It looks as if it could be restored more easily than some barns we've seen. Great design....great capture!

I really like the way the gate looks in front.
