I stopped along the Spokane River to take some shots and noticed this old snag just waiting for me to come along. I liked the textures it offered and the interesting colors. I hope you're having a great weekend.

Well, I've learnt a new word today "Snag", I've never heard of it used in this context. It is indeed a lovely shot of colours and textures. The top almost looks as though it's been twisted off.

Once a mighty tree now reduced to this...there's a story. Relates somewhat to the photo I posted on my blog this morning. Have a good one, Don!

I can't believe that green! Almost chartreuse.

We were supposed to get a slight accumulation of snow last night and today....we have at least 3 inches on top of the snow and it is still snowing.

I too really like all the textures and the colours. I'm drawn to wood in many forms so this is something I can truly appreciate.

Good evening, Don
An interesting discovery. In the lower part of the tree trunk has a green face. The two small holes are the eyes. The picture pleases me very well. 5 stars ***** Have a nice time and all the best.
Dear greetings Christel
