Looking out my computer window yesterday I was surprised to see a little doe and a buck wandering around looking for something to eat. They slowly moved by my window, but became very alert when I moved to get a camera. Of the quick shots taken, I liked this one the best. Have a great weekend.
Good morning Don,
A fantastic close-up which I like very much. It's nice that forest animals come so close to humans.
5 stars *****Many years ago I lived in the country and witnessed similar, in the winter. This morning it is snowing again. Our balcony table is just covered with snow. The outside temperature is 2.2 degrees Celsius plus. I made this morning, very early, the first walk with Ranger. Thank you very much for your nice comment and stars. Have a nice weekend and all the best including your family and friends.
Dear greetings Christel, Detlev and Ranger.

Hah- I love it! The most exciting mammel that goes past my window is a squirrel! You lucky, lucky man to get such a lovely shot!

Envious is the word. I'm even further down the natural world scale than Chris . . last wildlife sighting here was a rat.

well done, don, considering the circumstances and the 1/15 sec exposure! you've chosen a beautiful frame!

@Debi: Thanks for the comment, Debi. I was pleased that he didn't spook when I got up to get the camera.
You captured the beauty of this shy and nervous buck so well, Don. A lovely frame.

That's a great portrait of this handsome guy. Good work!

Nice shot. It's hard to get a good shot when the creature is facing away from you, but you got enough profile to make it interesting. You must keep your widows quite clean, as there are no indications this was shot thropugh glass

Wow, is that a common sight out your window? How fun.

@Candace: Actually, this is an unusual sight. They usually like more distance around themselves than provided in among the apartment housing.
Don, looks like a nice 8-pointer and a great shot under the circumstance.

How lucky to be able to look out your window and see this; my husband would love those antlers to make knife handles.
