Tiny Waterfall

Don (Spokane, United States) on 20 December 2010 in Landscape & Rural.

I spotted this small waterfall along a small stream and felt it warranted a shot or two. I want to thank all my visitors for their many visits and comments on my pictures. I appreciate the support and interest. Have a great seasonal week.

and the same to you Don. Here it gets colder and colder. Minus 10 c this morning. Lovely detail shot. I can hear the water spilling over that branch.

You've captured the motion nicely. The falling water is clear and almost "frozen" while the pool beneath displays interesting froth.

Good evening Don,
I like the small waterfall. The general view sees in color and detail very well and naturally. Today I went with Ranger again a long walk. We both had a lot of fun in the snow. Now he sleeps and has beautiful dreams. The outside temperature is 4.9 degrees Celsius below zero. This afternoon the sun was shining and it was pleasant in the fresh winter air. We wish you, including your entire family and friends a Merry Christmas, all the best for the year 2011 and to your daily routes. Thank you for all your nice comments including Stars and loyalty. Drive carefully in the snow. Dear greetings Christel and Detlev

This has such an inviting feel to it. The unusual aspect, of course, is the distance of the fall. As usual your keen clarity makes this a fine photograph.

I can almost hear the noise of the water! A very good shot with many details around and also IN and ABOUT the water. The look at the threshold is crisp and clear!
