Don - Slackwater (
The lowly petunias look pretty good after all the snowfall. They were in a neighbor's garden last summer. The weather has warmed up somewhat, but now there is the threat of freezing rain tonight. Tomorrow's commute could be a slick affair.
The look lovely when compared to our weather!

Petunias still growing-wow! All ours died off at the first hint of cold. You grow 'em tough in Spokane!

The picture is beautiful. The bright colors including details are excellent for expression. The flowers bring the warmth of summer into my room. The petunias are a feast for the eyes in these freezing temperatures. For that I give you 5 stars ***** This morning it snowed shortly. The roads are clear and passable. The outside temperature is now 7.0 ° degrees Celsius below zero. It is bitter cold and uncomfortable. But since we have to take it and how it is. Tomorrow is our big day (R....r !!) so I do not leave comments. E-mail follows, tonight.

lovely shot. I like the frame filling composition, the crisp detail on the bloow and the almost glowing "hairs" on some of the stems and buds.
