Duncan Garden is a formal European garden with a large granite fountain; designed and built in 1913. It is part of Manito Park and Botanical Gardens which is a 90-acre public park with arboretum, botanical gardens, and conservatory. I was surprised at the color still showing even though they were blowing out the sprinkler system for winter.
What a beautiful garden... must be high maintenance !

Good morning Don,
The viewing angle is excellent. The garden is beautiful and very large. He is very well maintained and is a delight for everyone. The beds are very creative and remind me of a park in our region. Thank you very much for the beautiful picture. I would like to give you 5 stars ***** Please check your e-mail today. Today the sun shines, but it might rain again. The temperature outside is exactly 8.2 ° degrees Celsius +. We wish you a nice sunny day, health and all the best including your family and friends. Take care, my friend.
Dear greetings Christel and Detlev

This looks very Europian,no wonder the most roots of Americans are still lying here....
Love the patterns you show here! (wish my garden was so well kept:))

Don, beautifully maintained gardens. Something very peaceful about strolling through one of these formal gardens. Perhaps the structure reduces chaotic stress.

Magnifique profondeur ... Belles couleurs))
Je n'aime pas les jardins trop clean ...
je les trouve sans vie !...
Belle journée.

Love the way the strong formality here starts to disappear in the misty distance . . I can feel a seasonal chill in it, too !

That's exactly what my uncle & I was saying last weekend at Shaw's Garden... we couldn't believe how much color there still was even though the fountains had all been drained for winter (except for 2)
Lovely shot, Don!

the quality of colours contrasts so well against the greys of the walkways and the rich green in the end of the image. I like your chosen perspective.

Lovely example of a formal garden. You chose an excellent point to photograph from, as the perspective leads the eye completely through the photo.

A true "jardin à la française" and its nices colours one can typically encounter behind French castles.

Even so late it still looks a lovely designed garden. By the size of the men this must be a really long garden.

It does look European, very pretty and stately.
