Turnbull Game Preserve

Another shot on the Turnbull Game Preserve of the rocks and seasonal stream. If you recall the basalt lining beneath a large area of eastern Washington, it helps explain how spring rains last through most of the summer only to dry up when fall arrives. Much to my surprise, the authorities have recently opened this preserve for limited hunting of game birds and elk.
