lovely shot, but(and I'm sure this is just me), I hate the winter-no light, cold Autumn, is just a big warning sign of the nasties to come. Anyway, depressing waffle over with, a lovely shot!

I just found your blog and I love your photos. Our trees are just starting to turn like that as well.

Don, certainly well ahead of us here. It's been so dry here the last month and a half that I don't what kind of fall colors to expect. Many leave currently are simply turning brown and falling off.

ah see, things are changing down there too. I love the exceptional long needles on that pine tree in the background. We don't have that type up here but, seeing yours, I remember seeing some like this when we've travelled down in the USA. A lovely soft introduction to autumn.

Lucky you! Fall is so pretty and we have so little of it and not for a long time yet. I will be in the midwest in October so I hope I see some then.

Way too early for fall in the south. The colored leaves here are attributed to drought stress. You did a nice job of capturing this bright colored mass.

Those vine maples are the first to turn color. I've seen them showing color in August.
