These three old buildings are set far from each other in a strange, spread out, way. The distance to the outhouse is understandable. I liked the extreme decay or the place.
Very picturesque view. I like the shadows on the interior of the building in the foreground.

The decay of the buildings does make for a very interesting Composition :))

Makes you wonder who once lived there. I wonder if one of the buildings was for animals, hence the spread out placement

Small, smaller, smallest :) Lovely

Don, the upper left building looks like it might have been a small home at one time with a window for a loft on the end, strange no windows on the front. There's the outhouse and then the lower building would be a garage for a car or truck perhaps. All just best guesses. :-)

So very interesting this view..imaginations of people who build it,and lived there..why they left..
Also very nice shown in these tones!

What a cool find and super shot, I always feel its a shame to see places run down like this but they do make for a great shot, and intriguing why they are placed as they are

It looks very old. These long abandoned place take on quite the character. Nice shot.

Good afternoon Don,
It is a very interesting sequence and discovery. I think it was there before welcoming and beautiful. It is a pity that the place has been abandoned. Thank you for your nice comment. Our holiday was very nice and versatile in design. Have a nice day and all the best. More on the weekend. Dear greetings Christel

If it were possible, I would give a small fortune to know the story of this place. I so love this photo.

Extreme decay indeed, but still standing up, which says a lot about the manner of building. Was the small 'house' on the right a "convenience" you think?
7 Sep 2010 6:35pm
looks like this was taken around noontime given the bright light. nice peaceful scenery.

Memories and ghosts are the only inhabitants now. Beautifully composed and executed.

When I was a wee lad we had to use an outhouse and the distance seemed to increase in winter as the temperature dropped and the amount of snow climbed.

Another well-done landscape, Don. You placed the buildings nicely in the frame. I hate to imagine running to that sistant outhouse on a cold morning.
