An inviting walk

A pathway in a local Japanese garden. I liked the glow of the moisture on the path and the lush growth that seemed cool and appealing in the heat of summer. The path led to a small decorative waterfall... and a place to sit and enjoy the sound of the water.

The fence is a nice leading line.

Well composed shot. I like the huge boulder anchoring the bottom left and the curving path leading into the manicured park.

It really does look like an inviting walkway & I love Japanese Gardens - That reminds me, I gotta get back up to Shaw's Gardens in St Louis this fall.

Before reading your description, the little bamboo fence reminded me of some I saw in Japan. Looking closer, I see the lantern and the curve of a bridge. This is a lovely Japanese garden. Really nice, Don.
