Don - Slackwater (
The irises near my home are starting to bloom. I ventured out in a light rain to shoot this iris which seemed to be bowing with its load of raindrops. I liked the rain drenched look...and the resulting picture.

Good morning Don,
the presentation is fantastic. The color reproduction of the flower and drops of water are clear and brilliant. I like it too, that I can look into it in the flower and that the individual details are visible. The blurred background makes the flower of great expression. 5 stars *****This morning, the outlook is very cloudy again and it looks like rain. I wish you a beautiful sunny day and all the best.

Don, there's something special about raindrops on flowers and you've captured a fine example here in this photo. The iris was my mother's favorite flower.

Yes, the weight of the water droplets seems to be weighing heavily on the petals. Nice color and composition.

with that green background, i really like how this flower stands out.. and of course the great details of those petals and water drops look good too.. very nice shot.. :)
