Down River

A beautiful river with a highway on one side and railroad on the other. A delight to stop and shoot. A scanned medium format negative.

To answer Roman's question: Yes, I developed all my roll film (6x6 and 6x7cm) and 4x5 inch view camera
shots. I liked Rodinol and shot mostly T-MAX 400. The 100 version of T-MAX had finer grain but the contrast seemed harder to control. I'm thankful for my archive of negatives since back problems are making it harder for me to shoot as much as I'd like and I run out of current images.

Good evening, Don,
This scene is very stylish and I like color too. As you know, my world is colorful. But I also mentioned that I also stylish black and white photos may be. Your pictures are also included. For that I give you 5 stars ***** It gives me great pleasure, that you're well and that the squirrels come to you. Such experiences I had before once when I lived near the forest. In winter when the snow was very high, deer and deer came up to my
window. It was a beautiful sight and experience for me ..... Sometimes I miss it ...... I wish you and your family good luck and health. I look forward to your next picture.
Good night, dear greetings Christel

Great framing with the railway and highway.. you can just see them. I also like that you carried this off in black and white yet still captured the beauty of such a pristine scene. When you can strip the color/or shoot in b&w and still have wonderful.. you've done good.
