An historic reminder of the flour mill days of the early 1900s. In 1974 the mill was renovated to provide downtown space for a shopping mall and restaurant location, some of the old mill hardware can be seen as part of the flour mill decorations.
The window makes a great frame for the tree!

Don, a really nice composition. The orange and white of the outside wall and tree pop against the darker brick interior walls -- it all works.

It's always a little sad when an historic building is turned into a shopping mall, but I guess they call it progress these days, and I'm showing my age. Very nicely captured, Don

Good evening, Don,
this presentation is very interesting. I wonder again about what you can find everything. They have it displayed in color very well. Even her two other shots from yesterday and the day before, I watched. Both liked it. I especially like the house on the water. I wish you continued success and happiness with your pictures and a nice evening. Here is the snow melted, everything is gray. It is a shame ......
In friendship, dear greetings Christel

Well at least they used some items from the mill, and this is a good shot of the old flywheel/pulley wheel.
Better watch out for that ALIEN plant coming round the corner...!

I love this shot! I used to design and draw pulley wheels like this at my first job. Except they would be made from cast iron.
