A seasonal stream (dry in late summer and fall) on the Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge. Turnbull was established in 1937 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, as a refuge, and breeding ground for migratory birds and other wildlife. Wildlife observation is the major recreational use-but visitors also hike, ride bicycles and enjoy photography via an auto road and several walking trails.
