We left on the drive to Clarkston, Washington, before sunup. As the sky brightened into a beautiful morning, I took this picture as we cruised along at 65mph (104.6kph). We had a beautiful day with 70+ temperatures (21.1c). Capturing an image looking down the road is easy, but side shots are much more difficult. I up the ISO a bit and try for a shutter speed of 1/500 if possible on all side shots. Even then the grass and fence rows along the road blur, but cropping back to the main subject tends to remove most of the blur.
