Peyto Lake (pea-toe) is a glacier-fed lake at an elevation of 1,860 m (6,100 ft) and located in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. The lake is best seen from Bow Summit, the highest point on the Icefield Parkway.

This scanned medium format negative was shot with a Plaubel 67 which is a collapsible 6x7cm format rangefinder camera that takes 120 film. It was designed in Germany and made in Japan around the 1980s. It features a fixed Nikkor 80mm f.2.8 lens and is compact enough so I can carry it in a coat pocket. I was shooting mostly black and white so I could expose and process it myself to get the range of tones I wanted.
