Flatbed Truck Farm

Another drive-by shot on our trip to and from Omak. I liked the sagging roof of the barn and that tiny window which seems strangely positioned to me. I call this the Flatbed Truck farm. It's typical of farms that use all the acreage possible right up to the buildings for planting grain. The trees look hammered by the winds that swept across this open country. I admire the fierce independence of farmers who depend on the limited annual rainfall. Of course, more and more acreage is now irrigated with center circle irrigation where huge sprinklers pivot around a central point watering in a huge circle.
