A drive-by shot taken taken from highway 90 of Lake Keechelus atop Snoqualmie Pass east of Seattle, Washington. The pass summit is at an elevation of 3022 ft./921 m. The pass is the largest of the east-west mountain routes across Washington state which are kept open year-round. It is the primary commercial artery between Seattle and points east, carrying an average of 27,087 vehicles through the pass per day. Keechelus Lake is a lake and reservoir just east of the pass which is the source of the Yakima River. When I processed this shot it had so little color, I decided to make it a black and white.
