Don - Slackwater (
While I was visiting the conservatory yesterday, these tiny cactus flowers caught my eye. I liked the flow of the cactus, its lighting and the general appeal of the image.
it looks to me like it's from another planet. don't get me wrong, i like it a lot. there's just something surreal about it.

Fantastic! This is superb - the details and lighting are great. Wonderful DOF and I like the contrast between the sharp spikes and the delicate flower. Beautiful.

A gorgeous shot Don! Love the sharpness and detail and as always your color is natural and lovely. Wonderful movement in this composition - it does have an odd/surreal quality also for it seems a bit like an octopus whose tentacles are turning into cacti.
