Lost A Boot?

I saw this boot someone had placed on this fence post near Long Lake Dam. I got a smile from seeing it and decided I must get its picture.
I was surprised no one had removed it and tossed across the fence into some debris. An entry for Friday Fences.

i wonder if someone was walking along & was like ... hey that is my boot ... what then? kind of like around here we see hubcaps every where leaning up on fences & walls ... do people really stop & grab it & say HEY that is my hubcap? ha. ha!! such a great shot. (:
