How Much Longer?

Posted by Don (Spokane, United States) on 19 June 2012 in Landscape & Rural.

A barn and shed north of Deer Park. My friend, David, recommended we drive up there for a couple of shots he had in mind. This is amazing to me for its size and desperate state of decay. Each Tuesday I post a barn picture for Barn Charm where you can see many more old barns.

It is amazing that it is still standing! It looks to have been a really nice barn in its day! Great capture - at least now it is preserved in photos!

A truly beautiful barn complex and well worth the effort of preservation I would say. A great opportunity for you Don :)

An impressive barn, and thanks to all that timber in its construction it's remained standing.

Great barn and shot of it. Huge, huh? Yes, it is leaning and you can see that before long it will begin to submit to the pull of gravity.

What a poetic choice of word to describe it's state -- desperate. On it's way back to the earth, like bones. Good barn shot Don and the brush stroke of clouds is complimentary.
