Clouds over the mountains

A view toward Mr. Spokane from Pleasant Prairie Road on the drive over to my son's house. Summer temperatures produce clouds over the mountains nearly every day. I couldn't resist getting a shot of this one. Mt. Spokane is 5880 feet high (1792m) whereas the elevation at my home is 1800ft.(548.6m). All of the mountains on the east side of Washington state are rather low compared to the high mountains of the Cascade Range on the west side.

What a wonderful capture Don. In French we call this clouds formation a "chapeau chinois" (Chinese hat)!

This image reminds me of a song called "3x5" by John Mayer, in which he writes : "And it's strange how mountains in the sky are next to mountains anyway." Clouds are awesome. Great capture.
