Columbine

The Columbine is an early Summer flowering plant. One of the easiest perennials to grow, so they say, with interesting flower shapes. I'm off today on a trip to Omak/Okanagan (150 miles; 241k) which will hopefully result in some new photos.

my god, hard to believe this is real. i lived for a short time on columbine drive (aspen), but i don't think i've really seen this flower until now.
