Spring Snow

Yesterday I awoke to several inches of new snow. It was the slushy, stick-to-everything, kind of snow that makes everything look pretty. After coffee, I stopped by the business park nearby and took this shot of the man-made waterfall. Thankfully, nearly all the snow melted by evening. No wonder I like posts of spring flowers and balmy days! :-)

Beautiful shot ! We also received over 2 feet of slushy, stick-to-everything snow 2 days ago. But in our case, it doesn't want to go away !!

I find this so incredibly pretty. It reminds me of the peacefulness in Japanese Gardens though I realize that's not what this is. I love the green in the waterfall -- it's a great but soft contrast. Lovely.

The delicate green of the waterfall looks beautiful surrounded by more neutral colors and the white of the snow. The dark lake is a good contrast to the various hints of lighter colors – lovely image!

nice shot. there's talk that we may get snow here tomorrow. there are piles of it from the street plows six feet high sitting out in mid-sixty degree weather.
