Country Living

Posted by Slackwater - don (spokane, United States) on 15 March 2009 in Landscape & Rural.

This is about 10 miles (16k) south of Spokane. I include this as part of a series I've posted showing the diverse countryside in eastern Washington that includes forested mountains, high desert, scab land of broken lava and sage brush, and the palouse where grain crops are king. The western side of the state is another and different story.

Yes, the western side is the very wet and green story. I like this shot, Don. It's sort of a farm village out in the wide open spaces. Very nice.

Rolling hills for miles or as far as the eye can see beautifully framed. Your natural colors make it possible to imagine being there.

We lived for years in the country and I thought I'd never get used to living in town. Now, I don't think I could live in the country. It's a lovely scene...so picturesque...peaceful.
