Five Mile Frost

A plateau called Five Mile, a few miles from my home, is hundreds of feet higher than this location. We were driving up there to see a friend and I couldn't resist shooting as we drove along. There was so little color, I desaturated it into a black and white image.

this is beautiful. the light on the trees, and the detail in them, is amazing. hard to believe this was shot from a moving car.

a very well balanced image. I was observing the same 'lack of colour' on my recent drive to and from the city (6 hours away). You've done a great job incorporating that curve in the road to lead the viewer in.
