Love it, Don. My kind of scenery. Born in the countryside, sadly my folks moved to the city when I was fairly young, but my love of the great outdoors always takes me back to green valleys and open lands where the animals outnumber the people.
This is one of those locations where I could happily spend some relaxing time just sitting by the water, or wandering around, my thoughts and me. I spent a lot of my childhood on farms in Devon and Cornwall and still get a kick out of those certain smells, and the sght of cattle and sheep dogs.

That is a fantastic shot. I agree - very pastoral and a lovely image. I'm just trying to figure out the need for the barbed wire topped fence.

The texture of the reeds are very eyecatching. The reflection of the sky in the waters is quite dramatic too
