EYES WIDE SHUT from The library of my soul, United KingdomLove it, Don. My kind of scenery. Born in the countryside, sadly my folks moved to the city when I was fairly young, but my love of the great outdoors always takes me back to green valleys and open lands where the animals outnumber the people. This is one of those locations where I could happily spend some relaxing time just sitting by the water, or wandering around, my thoughts and me. I spent a lot of my childhood on farms in Devon and Cornwall and still get a kick out of those certain smells, and the sght of cattle and sheep dogs. 11 Jan 2009 5:10pm Suzanne from Huntington Bch, United StatesAn outstanding pastoral scene. I especially like the shape of the water...like an arrow.Gorgeous countryside. 11 Jan 2009 6:22pm Toni from Eastern Washington, United StatesThat is a fantastic shot. I agree - very pastoral and a lovely image. I'm just trying to figure out the need for the barbed wire topped fence. 11 Jan 2009 7:32pm grant from kansas city, United Statesa gorgeous scene and a great perspective on it - makes me wonder how you got this angle. 11 Jan 2009 10:12pm Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesWhere are the ducks? I see some cattle though. Nice image. 11 Jan 2009 11:31pm roentarre from Melbourne, AustraliaThe texture of the reeds are very eyecatching. The reflection of the sky in the waters is quite dramatic too 12 Jan 2009 7:48am |
